Features
Everything on the report, on one plan.
BugTrap is the widget on your site, a Chrome extension for the page you are viewing, and the queue your team works. Screenshot, markup, the element’s HTML and CSS, a 30-second replay, console and network, guest forms, Asana, and an MCP connection for coding agents. $5 a month for the workspace. The team is included.
The product
A page for each part of the report.
The widget files the evidence. The dashboard is where the team filters, assigns, and closes. Each of these is included with the workspace.
Screenshots and markup
A website annotation tool and a visual feedback tool. Reporters capture the visible page, then draw, arrow, box, or type on it. The original screenshot and the marked-up image both stay on the bug.
ScreenshotsElement capture
A reporter can click the exact element. The bug stores a selector, the HTML, the styles that differ from a plain tag, and the CSS rules that matched.
Element captureSession replay
A screen recording bug report tool. Each report keeps about the last 30 seconds of the session. Text typed into inputs is masked, and the replay plays on the bug.
Session replayConsole, network, and environment
Reports include the last 200 console lines, the last 100 network calls, the browser environment, and any custom metadata you attach.
Console and networkChrome extension
Install BugTrap from the Chrome Web Store. Click the toolbar icon, or use the shortcut, to capture the visible tab, mark it, and send the report to your workspace.
Chrome extensionForms for guests and members
Choose which fields visitors and signed-in teammates see, and which are required. The widget follows that config.
Report formsThe team queue
Filter by status and priority, search the title and description, assign a teammate, and keep public comments separate from internal notes.
The queueAsana
Connect a project and each new bug becomes a task with the title, the description, and the screenshot. Map BugTrap fields onto custom fields you already have.
AsanaTeam and workspaces
One workspace is $5 a month, and the people you invite are included. Admins, members, and guests each get a role.
TeamMCP for coding agents
Connect Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, VS Code, Gemini CLI, or Devin Desktop. The agent can list the queue and read a report.
MCP
How a report is filed
From the broken page to a ticket.
- 01
Pick the element, or skip it
The reporter can click the node that broke. BugTrap keeps a selector, the HTML, and the CSS. Skipping still files the report.
- 02
Capture the visible page
The screenshot is the viewport they were looking at. The report button is left out of the shot.
- 03
Mark a second image
Draw, arrow, box, or text. The original screenshot stays next to the markup. A picked element is already boxed.
- 04
Fill the form you configured
Visitors and teammates can see different fields. You choose what is visible and what is required.
- 05
The ticket arrives with the rest
About 30 seconds of replay, the recent console and network, the browser environment, and any metadata you attached.
The price
The same evidence, at a price a small team can say yes to.
$5 a month for the workspace. The screenshot, the element, the replay, guest reports, Asana, and MCP are included.
See the planThe team is the plan
BugTrap is $5 a month for the workspace, and the people you invite are included. Admins, members, and guests share that price.
Replay is included
About the last 30 seconds is attached to every report. Text typed into inputs is masked, and playback stays on the bug.
A visitor can file it
Guest reports are on the $5 plan, with the fields you mark visible or required. Element HTML and CSS, Asana, and MCP are on this plan too.
