Acceptance testing

A user acceptance testing tool.

The tester marks the failure on the site.

Put the widget on the site under test. A guest files without an account. The report arrives with the screenshot, the markup, the element, and about 30 seconds of replay. The workspace is $5 a month, and the people you invite are included.

  1. 01

Install it on the site under test

Add one script tag to the staging site, or to the page a client is accepting. The workspace API key sends every report to your dashboard.

  2. 02

    The tester files it there

A guest opens the widget, marks the screen, and can point at the element. No account. The form is the guest form you configured.

  3. 03

    The team works the ticket

The report arrives with the screenshot, the markup, the replay, and the logs. Filter it, assign it, comment, and close it.

The report

What the tester sends back.

When something fails, the ticket has the screen they were looking at, and the evidence already attached.

  • The screenshot, and the marks on it

The shot is the viewport they were looking at. Draw, arrow, box, or type on a second image. The original stays beside the markup.

    Screenshots and markup
  • The element that failed

The tester can click the node. The bug stores a selector, the HTML, the styles that differ from a plain tag, and the CSS rules that matched. They can skip that step and still file.

    Element capture
  • About 30 seconds of replay

The recording on the report is about the last 30 seconds. Text typed into inputs is masked. Playback lives on the ticket.

    Session replay
  • The console and the network

The last 200 console lines, the last 100 network requests, the page URL, and the browser environment are on the bug.

Install

One script tag on the site they are checking.

Leave the audience off, or set it to guest, and the tester gets the guest form. You choose which fields are visible and which are required. Guests can open the queue and comment. They do not need a paid seat.
