The subscription

A workspace is $5 a month, plus applicable taxes. Payment is handled by Stripe. You can subscribe, update the card, and cancel from Billing. Canceling at the end of the period keeps reporting working until that date. After the period ends, new reports are not accepted.

New reports require an active subscription. A failed renewal pauses new reports until the invoice is paid. The dashboard stays available so the card can be updated.

Your workspace

You are responsible for the people you invite to your workspace and for the access you give them.

The widget

Installing the widget lets visitors of your site file a report into your workspace. You are responsible for using the widget on your site, including telling your visitors what it captures. The privacy policy describes what BugTrap stores, including that report files are available to anyone with the link.

Chrome extension

The extension files a report into the workspace for the API key saved in the browser. You are responsible for who has that key, and for the pages you capture. A report still has to be one you have a right to share.

Reports

Reports filed into your workspace are yours to triage. BugTrap hosts them so your team can open them. Do not use the service to submit or store content you do not have a right to share, and do not use it to disrupt the service or another workspace.

The demo

The signed-out demo is a preview. It does not save a report. A signed-in member who uses the demo files into their own workspace under these terms.

The service

BugTrap is offered as it is available. Features can change, and an outage, a rejected upload, or a third-party service can interrupt a report or a task. These terms apply to the service at bugtrap.app as of the date above. Questions about these terms can be sent to admin@bugtrap.app.
